Bicycling on Hilton Head Island
With more than 50 scenic miles of public bicycle paths and trails, as well as wide, expansive beachs, bicyclists can explore the island in a safe and enjoyable environment. Bike riders should always be mindful of vehicular traffic and obey all traffic signs and laws, and be courteous of pedestrians and crosswalks.
The best places for riding bikes on Hilton Head Island are the bike paths and the beach.

Sea Pines all have extensive networks of bike paths, however access may be restricted to resident and guests within the individual communities. There are also paths along Highway 278 from Folly Field to Sea Pines Circle, and along Pope Avenue and North and South Forest Beach Drives.
